Doctor in Pharmacy, with a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Management and an Executive MBA from HEC, Thierry Chignon has a first ten years experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance and clinical trials with Aventis Pasteur (Head Pharmacist).

During the next 10 years, he worked for the international leader QUINTILES as Principal Consultant to assist market authorization in Europe of biotechnology products and medical devices. Over the last four years, he set up and managed a Business Unit dedicated to biological products and combined technologies.

He has worked as expert to the Commission of the European Communities for 5 years, and chaired working groups at the European Commission for Standardisation and the International Standard Organization for the setting up of European harmonized standards relating to risk management. He has also been appointed an expert of the AFSSaPS (French Agency for Health Care Products). Thierry Chignon joined Matignon in November 2006 as Investment Manager.
